Business Development Manager

You will be an all-rounded self-starter who will be responsible for the marketing, channels management and sales of RadianTrust’s suite of software products. You should be a self-starter with high energy level with the ability to initiate and drive sales opportunities independently and reliably. You will be responsible for identifying market opportunities, establishing sales channels, achieving the sales target, growing the market and customer base. Your key responsibilities include but not limited to:

  1. Managing Key Customer Accounts:
    focus on managing key customers accounts in the Government, GLCs, MNCs and SMEs segments with a view to retaining and growing the business;
  2. Managing Channels:
    manages the channels programme by effectively identifying and recruiting new partners for local and overseas markets to continuously increase the presence of the product offerings;
  3. Business Planning:
    develop business plans and strategies to increase market share in the local and international markets;
  4. Direct Sales:
    builds a healthy pipeline of prospects and effectively working to close the sales, meeting if not exceeding the sales quota assigned;
  5. Managing Strategic Alliances:
    identifies strategic ISV, VAR, OEM partners in view of cross-selling, bundling or embedding the product offerings to collaboratively enhance the offerings in their respective domains;
  6. Supervising Account Management:
    coach Senior/Business Development Executives on good account planning and management approaches, and monitor Senior/Business Development Executives’ account management and sales performance;
  7. Product Marketing:
    undertakes market and competitor analysis, develops and implements marketing programmes to generate demand and promote sales of product offerings;
  8. Developing New Business:
    undertake market research to identify new business opportunities, define and execute business plans and strategies to achieve revenue targets; and
  9. Bid Preparation:
    formulate, prepare and present proposals for new bids including strategic, business and deal structuring aspects and collaborate with the professional services teams to develop winning bids for targeted accounts.

You should possess a Degree with at least 5 years of managerial experience in selling IT Security, business solutions and related products. You should have effective team management and business capabilities, including strong communication, coaching, business presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills, as well as a hunger to excel in a fast-paced, diversified and changing environment.  You should also be self-motivating with a passion to learn and pick up domain knowledge and technologies quickly and are willing to put in the extra hours of work to grow the business.  You should also possess strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly. You should also have good knowledge of financial analysis particularly in terms of solution pricing and cost-benefit analysis.  You must be able to think out of the box to recommend solutions, conceptualize and carry out business plans, and work effectively with the technical team to deliver the solutions. Those with a background in consulting and a good understanding of IT security will have a definite advantage.

SENIOR / SECURITY SOFTWARE ENGINEER (PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT - PHIDÉLITY)

You will be involved in the product development of various software security products. You will contribute to designing and architecting products & solutions, and participate in the whole SDLC from requirements study, analysis and design, coding, testing, implementation to support. You will participate in analyzing market needs & segmentation, conceptualizing innovative product features, product demonstration & presentation to potential customers, and assist in technical solution proposal in respond to RFP / tenders.

You should possess a Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and be passionate about technology with a minimum of 3 year’s relevant experience in designing and implementing solutions based on the J2SE/J2EE platform and Embedded System/Driver programming. You should have strong programming skills in C/C++, Java, J2EE, JSP/Servlets, JDBC, EJB, Cluster-Aware, JMS, SQL, JavaScript, Ajax, XML and Web Services. You should also be familiar with Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) methodologies, UML and Design Patterns. For the senior position, you should have at least 3 years experience leading teams in multiple projects for the full SDLC. You should have a strong passion in technology and IT security and a strong desire to be a member of a product team to develop world-class products. A good track record in the understanding of technology and adoption of the technology to come up with innovative solutions to solve real-world compelling issues is essential. You must be a technically-inclined person with lots of hands-on experience in various technologies and software products.

You should be interested in keeping abreast of technological advancement, emerging standards and new software solutions as well as keeping a keen focus on usability that may affect decisions on product building or enhancements. You are also expected to be customer focused with good interpersonal and communications skills (oral and verbal). Hands-on experience in Image Processing, Digital Watermark, Steganography, Optical Watermark, MATLAB, Cryptography, PKI, Smartcard, HSM, JavaCard, J2ME security, Struts/Spring Framework, JBOSS, JGroups, Identity Management, and Single Sign-On (SSO) will have a firm advantage.
