Asian Fiancial Services Congress (AFSC)
26 – 27 February 2009
Raffles City Convention Centre, Singapore

Every year, the Asian Financial Services Congress (AFSC) exhibition provides financial technology service and solution providers with a platform to feature their products and services to the financial services industry, and is an important event for the users, buyers and sellers of financial technology in the Asia-Pacific region.

As impacted foreign players retreat from Asia/Pacific as casualties of the economic recession, regional players look forward to take a bite out of their market share, and seize the opportunity within the current economic situation not only to sustain but also grow their businesses.

The stricter standards in regulatory requirements, such as the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Security Standards, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act 2002 (SOX), have made it necessary for businesses to require greater security and accountability in the use of business documents.

Yet, according to studies , the biggest source of information security incidents in businesses occurs as a result of information leakage through paper documents (50%), compared to the personal computer (16.8%) and other portable recordable media (15.7%).

RadianTrust is participating at AFSC and showcasing Phidélity's latest feature, ID-Trace, which covertly embeds user information into printed documents, providing accountability for sensitive documents and enabling tracking of unauthorised information leakage. RadianTrust's Phidélity provides options to print securely by embedding anti-forgery, anti-counterfeit and accountability features into the final printed document.

This set of security features that protects printed documents acts as the last leg of the Data Leak/Loss Protection (DLP) process that predominantly addresses information protection only in the electronic form.
